Showing off my new China Glaze polish in Cosmic. A black polish with silver and holographic glitter. Why don't beauty bloggers swatch nail polishes on their toes? Haha...it's a bit awkward...and if I wasn't semi-flexible, very difficult!
This is MY Project 365. I will take one picture a day for 365 days. Starting April 1, 2011, and ending March 30, 2012 (it's gonna be a leap year). Maybe I'll turn it into a Project 366 for that extra day :) **Yessss...I am slacking, but hey: I AM taking the pictures regularly (pretty much), so I will get my booty in gear and start posting more. Sorry for the delay!

Day 42/365: A Twist on Your Manicure
I swear this is the easiest thing you can do to your nails to make them look fancy! Just add glitter!!! Whether it's a glitter topcoat/polish, like my favorite China Glaze Nova, or using a loose glitter like this one. Unfortunately it's Martha Stewart brand (I don't like to support her cause, but the color variety I got from this pack was a bit too redonkulous for me not to buy). This color is aquamarine crystal. And the polish is I believe China Glaze Harmony. A great combination. All you have to do is put down a wet coat of nail polish...probably clear, or the color you have as your base, and dip your finger(s) into the glitter. I recommend pushing it into the nail, so that there's less fallout, then sealing it with a clear topcoat. I say use a junky one, then let it dry and then use a good one like Seche Vite.

Day 41/365: Did I Mention I Like Flowers?
Hah!! I warned you about the amount of flowers you will be seeing in this project 365! I just love flower pictures...pictures of nature! It's easy because you don't have to worry about the thing moving (unless it's really windy), and they're naturally pretty! These are flowers my grandma got for Mother's Day...still lookin good!!

Day 40/365: No Idea
I'll admit it, I had no friggen clue what I wanted to take a picture of today. This is a very close up of a bag I own. A friend gave it to me for Christmas. I tried using it for school, but the fact that there is no structure and that it was white made it difficult. Now I use it to carry miscellaneous stuff when I perform. Still there is a fear I will get it dirty, but not as much. I love the print of this bag...very sporadic...like me!

Day 39/365: More Gardenias
I was excited to see a whole lot of flowers in my grandma's gardenia bush today. So pretty. It brings me back to them elementary school days ;) Anyway, today, it had all these drops of water...artistic feel!
I used flash for this picture...brings out the colors better! Slowly learning the photography thing...actually I was supposed to learn it back when I took photography in high school!

Day 38/365: X Marks the Spot
Happy Mother's Day. Thought I'd try something my grandma appreciates...tiramisu! It was a PAIN to make it...well I should start off with the fact that it was a PAIN to find the ingredients. It turned out descent...I don't think I'll be trying this again for a while though!
Thanks to my high school classmate, Sarah (what a coinkidink), who helped get me the espresso for cheap!

Day 37/365: No Concert Pic??
Yes, this is another alcoholic beverage, and NO I am NOT an alcoholic! Anyway, this was at the Hard Rock Cafe. We decided to eat here and then be able to be at the concert site already. My friend and I decided to partake in the souvenir glass, so we were able to get the "large" drinks :) Well, I tried the Ultimate Long Island Iced Tea. This was pretty dang good!!! Really smooth, and a hint of pineapple. I'm really not a good describer of taste, so sue me!! Really good drink, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet drink!
The concert was pretty good. Wasn't knowing what to expect. He did all original songs, woulda liked hearing a cover or two because I love a lot of his covers, but a good showing, and he had a meet and greet after, when he told me I looked familiar...my non-original face at work again!!
